In this seated figure, the body is both space and refuge. Curves define a silent interior, a place where presence listens to itself. In the inward gesture, there is an unyielding strength: the right to return to one’s own body, to recognize it as a legitimate and inviolable territory. The sculpture thus becomes a gesture of intimate emancipation, where inhabiting oneself is also the beginning of freedom.
